Scott Woelm, Todd Krause, Meredith Lindrud, Theresa Caspers,
Jamie and I set off this day to the north, hoping for some cells
to get going. The instability was "ok", but we feared
that the models were over-doing the available moisture.
When we got near Little Falls, we headed west to find a nice
spot to watch. We watched an awesome shelf
cloud on a storm trying to get going, but it soon gusted out
as did all the other cells. They just got sheered off for the
amount of moisture available.
All in all, a fun chase, a cool shelf cloud, but no severe storms.
A nice short chase for some nice cells. I'll add some time lapse
of the shelf cloud when I get a chance.
